Educational Institute Preferred Partner of EUHOFA

Orlando, Florida (USA) – 4 February 2012 — The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (EI) has become a corporate sponsor, preferred partner and associate member of EUHOFA International, a worldwide association of leading hospitality and tourism schools with more than 200 members in 35 countries. Through this new partnership, the Educational Institute will have the opportunity to address all EUHOFA International members during the organization’s annual conference and to share information about hospitality education resources directly with EUHOFA members.

“The objectives of EUHOFA International and the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute run parallel, but are not competitive at all. On the contrary, they complement one another,” stated Filiep Defraye, EUHOFA’s president. “The members of EUHOFA want to give their students a highly professional education and training that must lead to success and career in the hospitality industry, in the broadest sense. Therefore, we do not only make an appeal to professionally-trained personnel, but we also need the most modern tools that are available on the market at this very moment. Here, thanks to its professional offer of hospitality tools, the Educational Institute can perfectly become the best-suited partner of EUHOFA International.”

Defraye went on to note that both EUHOFA International and the Educational Institute have been building strong reputations in the hospitality industry for more than 50 years, with EUHOFA founded in 1955, and the Educational Institute in 1953. Both organizations pursue the same ultimate objective: schooling, training and certification of hospitality workers worldwide.

This partnership with EUHOFA will be a win win for both parties, commented John Lohr, EI’s European consultant. The Educational Institute’s support will help ensure EUHOFA’s success and further add to its reputation as a premier hospitality association and EUHOFA’s promotion of the Educational Institute’s academic offerings will help the Educational Institute build even stronger relationships with leading hospitality schools and their top decision makers across Europe and abroad.
