First Saudi Hotel Tech Expo Opens in Riyadh

Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) – November 30, 2015 (travelindex) – The First Saudi Hotel Technology Expo, has opened its doors to visitors on November 30 under the patronage of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Held at at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center, the three-day exhibition will showcase various verticals of the hotel industry addressing the key concepts, applications, procurement deployment, implementation, resource planning, cost effective approach using hotel tech informalities and keeping in view the market dynamics.

The exhibition brings together all the networking, technologies, latest hotel equipment, security procedures, interior and exterior providers and information technologist to empower the advancement in the delivery and continuity of hotel technology. Saudi International Hotel Tech Expo 2015 is an arena to unite the Hotel Industry professionals to equip their business with the state of the art technologies used in their hotel industry meeting the international standards justifying to be different and competitive, for the customers to prefer you as a first choice when they think of traveling to a destination.

Saudi Arabia expects to complete 16,000 new hotel rooms in Riyadh and Jeddah by 2018, and a 400% increase in domestic tourism by 2019. The country’s tourism revenue is expected to reach a whopping $65bn by 2020 and its hospitality sector is forecast to be worth $93bn in the next five years. According to the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), 149 new hotels will be completed across Saudi Arabia in 2015 and more than 77 per cent of the hospitality investment in the kingdom is in the two holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
