Allin Interactive Introduces Integrated DigiHD ITV

Austin, Texas (USA) – 26 June 2012 – Allin Interactive introduced its integrated DigiHD ITV and DigiMobile platform to the hospitality industry today at the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference (HITEC) in Baltimore, Maryland, booth #1642. The HITEC conference, running June 25-28, is the world’s largest hospitality technology show, bringing all of the major hoteliers and latest technology together in one place. Allin Interactive is exhibiting at HITEC for the first time.

“We felt that the timing was appropriate to bring our 17 years of interactive experience in the cruise industry to the land-based hospitality market,” stated John Troutwine, Senior Vice-President, Business Development at Allin Interactive. “HITEC is the perfect venue to showcase our company as well as our latest interactive television and mobile applications.”

Allin Interactive has installed HD ITV in over 100,000 cruise cabins to date, including on the world’s largest and most advanced cruise vessels such as Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas (5,252 rooms each), NCL Norwegian Epic (3,500 rooms), Carnival Magic and Breeze (2,600 rooms each) and Costa Favolosa and Fascinosa (2,100 rooms each.) Allin’s installation at The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City in late 2011 officially introduced Allin’s DigiHD ITV platform to land-based properties where the benefits of Allin interactive services can be offered to resort/casino guests.

Allin’s DigiMobile extension of interactive services on consumer smartphones and tablets (iPhone, iPad, Android Phone, and Windows Phone 7) was implemented for the first time onboard NCL Norwegian Epic earlier this year. In March Allin introduced “Voice over IP” (VoIP) calling as a new feature of its DigiMobile interactive platform for consumer mobile devices. This technology enables phone-to-phone and phone-to-PBX extension calling (and chat) on-site as well as VoIP calling between registered phones and world-wide phones via the property’s WiFi network.

“It is clear that destination properties, especially those with extended services such as spa, multiple dining options, and convention centers, are interested in utilizing integrated interactive technology to increase guest service levels and enhance on-site revenue,” added Mr. Troutwine. “Allin brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, applications, and flexibility to hoteliers who want to control their own system and fundamentally change the communications model for their guests and meeting/convention attendees.”
