Frankfurt am Main, Germany – 3 March 2012 – Trust International, a leading technology partner in the global hospitality industry, welcomes TourOnline as one of the largest reservations partners for German hotel groups. The provider of individual internet solutions generated a sales volume of 200 million euro in 2011 with its core product, the reservations and channel management system. TourOnline’s DIRS system is accessed by individual hotels, medium-sized hotel groups and tourism providers — 250 of these hotels will use Trust International’s technology in background processing, among them renowned brands such as Romantik Hotels, Akzent Hotels or Flair Hotels.

The award of the contract by Trust International was determined by the linkage to global distribution systems (GDS), the headquarters and support in Germany, as well as the opportunity for further growth in the IDS sector and the chance to open up new reservations markets, e.g. Asia, through Trust Direct Connects. Here, a “Two-Way-Interface” enables all dates, availabilities and rates to be automatically updated in both directions – not only from the central reservation system (CRS) to the reservation portals, but also vice versa. This means that TourOnline can quickly carry out data and availabilities for its member hotels. Moreover, TourOnline not only focused on the reservations availability of rooms, but also on packages, special offers and children’s prices.
