PATA CEO to Panel Session at WTTC Global Summit
Hainan (China) – April 24, 2014 – The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) congratulates the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) on the opening of WTTC’s 14th annual Global Summit in Hainan, China.
PATA continually enjoys the support and camaraderie of WTTC executives and members, and WTTC’s leadership of the Global Travel Association Coalition (GTAC), which includes PATA, Airports Council International (ACI), Cruise Line International Association (CLIA), International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), World Economic Forum (WEF), and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
PATA Chief Executive Officer Martin Craigs, along with PATA Regional Director – Greater China, Bo Wu, will be in attendance at the Global Summit. He will provide a review of PATA activities, ambitions, and its partnerships in aligned advocacy with WTTC and others in GTAC. He will also reveal some new PATA initiatives at the Global Summit.
On Friday, April 25 during Session 5: Travel, Tourism and Trade: opening the world to growth, Mr Craigs will be a panellist on Discussion 1: Connectivity. Session 5 will be held at the Summit Ballroom in the Renaissance Sanya Resort & Spa from 1040 – 1230 hrs. Immediately after the Session, he will participate in the open Q&A at the WTTC media centre (Floor 2F). There is no RSVP in advance for the open Q&A.
Mr Craigs said, “I am delighted to be back in Hainan and to re-engage with the global travel industry community of PATA and to invite media friends for a short briefing immediately after my participation in the fifth session panel at the 14th WTTC Global Summit in Hainan, China from April 24 to 25.”
