Shrewsbury School Awards Celebration at Chatrium Hotel

Bangkok (Thailand) – October 28, 2015 (travelindex) – Shrewsbury International School Bangkok led by Dr. Ben Schmidt, Regional Director, Southeast Asia and Pacific (4th right) and Mr. Stephen Holroyd, Principal of Shrewsbury, (4th left) hosted the annual Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards for Thailand. Shrewsbury celebrates the school’s most successful year in terms of Cambridge International Examination results, totaling 21 awards this year and 138 awards since the school opened in 2004. This year’s achievement includes 2 “Top in the World” awards, 18 “Top in Thailand” awards, and the highest individual scores across 8 different IGCSE subjects.

The off-site banquet at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok was catered by Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok. This annual awards event celebrated the success of Shrewsbury’s students winning Cambridge Outstanding Learning Awards and two of Shrewsbury’s 2015 graduates, Nannapin (Pearl) Banjurtrungkajorn and Thanachaporn (Mind) Apiyessa, who have secured their own Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards in AS Geography and Economics. Total of 14 students won the Cambridge Outstanding Learners Awards (2015) this year.
