Cristal Award of Excellence for Mamlouk Palace
Cairo (Egypt) – 14 May 2012 – The Crystal Award bases on the strict regulations of the Hazard Analyses Critical Control Point System (HACCP). The prize is recognition of those hotels that made an extra effort to provide their guests with a safe environment in which to enjoy their vacation. The Crystal Award is presented by Check Safety First, a British company with twenty years experience in the field of hygiene. Check Safety First audits hotels on a frequent, often monthly, basis on their safety and health practices and procedures. The hotel is subjected to over 250 control points, by a professional auditor on site, which must be answered positively to receive their recommendation.
Due to this high commitment our SUNRISE Select Mamlouk Palace Resort & Spa in Hurghada has been honored with the Cristal Certificate of Excellence after fulfilling the necessary criteria. This award emphasizes the efforts SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises has made to assure our guests that food, along with other services, responds to the highest internationally required health and safety standards.
In July 2003, SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises has been founded by Hossam Gouda El Shaer, businessman with a long touristic experience in Egypt. During the years SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises developed to be one of the leading hotel cooperation in Egypt. The target is to create a high quality product for the fast growing tourism market in Egypt, which fulfills the international guests’ requirements. Our own quality department guarantees a constant high standard by conducting for example a monthly control incl. guest interviews and mystery-guest visits, complaint management and regular employee trainings. As well we are working together with “Cristal Middle East”, an international company based in England, which is controlling our Resorts and Cruises on a monthly basis to ensure a constantly high hygienic level. In addition to that, cooperation with “Travel Life” has been formed in order for our Resorts and Cruises to efficiently protect the environment. This includes for example measures to save energy and water or waste separation.
