B & B Opens at Patricks’ Pastures in Denton

Denton, TX (USA) – September 9, 2012 – The Old Irish Bed & Breakfast at Patricks’ Pastures will offer vintage-style cottages in a quaint country setting, surrounded by alpacas, llamas and other animals. Also included will be a venue for small weddings, community meetings and other gatherings.

Patricks’ Pastures Alpaca Ranch, known for its award-winning alpacas and llamas, now offers bed and breakfast accommodations. The Old Irish Bed & Breakfast at Patricks’ Pastures, 3030 N. Trinity Road in Denton, Texas, has already received very positive reviews and welcomes guests Thursdays through Sundays and on holidays and by special arrangement during the week.

Old Irish features vintage-style cottages nestled on the nearly six-acre alpaca and llama ranch. Each of the three cottages rents for $149 per night and there’s a two-night minimum on weekends.

“We offer those who visit Denton County a unique, charming and romantic experience,” said Jim Patrick, Patricks’ Pastures’ host and Innkeeper. “Guests can enjoy a bit of the quiet country life, spend time with the alpacas and llamas, feel the romance and still be close to all the attractions the city of Denton and the surrounding communities have to offer.”

Reservations are accepted via numerous bed and breakfast booking sites or directly through Patricks’ Pastures, Patrick said.

Old Irish’s amenities include:
· Adults only and smoke-free
· Queen-size beds
· Complimentary weekend breakfasts
· Antiques
· A television and DVD player in each cottage
· Microwaves
· Refrigerators
· Private porches with two rocking chairs on each porch
· Ceiling fans inside and outside
· A catch-and-release pond
· Trees that are more than 100 years old
· Alpacas, llamas, ducks, geese, dogs and cats
· A hot tub
· PaCa Pro Shop, which sells clothing made from alpaca fleece and many other items

In addition, Old Irish includes The PaCa RoAd Inn, an intimate venue for small weddings, anniversaries, graduations, community gatherings and other festivities. The inn, which can accommodate up to 40 people indoors and more people in a large patio area for dining or cocktail parties, rents for $1,250 per five-hour event.

The property includes two areas for weddings. One area features a gazebo next to a pond with lighted fountains, while the other is appropriate for very small weddings and is adjacent to a garden and large fountain. The property also includes four wedding arbors.

“The PaCa RoAd Inn includes beautiful patios and gardens with fountains and wood-burning fireplaces,” Patrick said. “There are few small venues in Denton County, and we want to offer one that boasts some Irish charm.”

PaCa RoAd’s first large event will be The International Crochet Crowd’s Fiber and Yarn Retreat. About 90 people are expected to attend the gathering Oct. 26-28.
