137 Pillars Launches Luxury Boutique Brand

travel-news-img-30Bangkok (Thailand) – June 16, 2016 (travelindex.com) – Following the strong success of the stunning 30-suite 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai, the Wongphanlert family have created a new luxury brand, 137 Pillars Hotels & Resorts and will continue to expand in Thailand.

At the helm of the brand leading a handpicked team of talented individuals, Christopher E. Stafford leads as Chief Operating Officer, directing and overseeing every step of the creation of this passionately curated brand, to deliver an outstanding and memorable experience for every guest and resident.

137 Pillars Hotels & Resorts newest edition; 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok is scheduled to open in early 2017. The property is located on Sukhumvit Soi 39, a short distance from the upscale and fashionable shopping district of Emquartier/Emporium.

A third property, 137 Pillars Estate Phuket, is scheduled to open early 2019 on the North Peninsula of Kata Beach, with 16 sunset facing Pool villas and 51 Pool Suites.

137 Pillars Hotels & Resorts has been passionately curated on the foundation of the historic Baan Borneo at 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai. This original teak homestead dating back to the late 1800s has a rich colonial history and was the former headquarters of the East Borneo Company. The Leonowens and Bain family lived there, as well as their famous partner Rajah Brooke. Each new hotel will thus feature a Jack Bain’s Bar and Cigar Divan and the elite Louis Leonowens Club for our invited members. These two iconic families form the connection that 137 Pillars Hotels and Resorts will take into each new hotel.

137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok will showcase 34 exquisitely appointed suites and 179 private residences. The architects for the property are Palmer and Turner from Bangkok, with Interiors by P49 Design and Landscape by Wabi Sabi Studio. Interiors will showcase a warm palette of rich tones with exquisite white and grey marble bathrooms and expansive use of mirrors and glass.

137 Pillars Suites
The hotel suites will be located from the 24th to 32nd floor with four categories of one and two bedrooms ranging from 70-127 square meters. Features will include private dining tables, private butler service, maxi bars with wine cellars, user friendly mood lighting, high ceilings, large walk-in wardrobes and stunning marble en-suite bathrooms with chic circular baths complete with built in TV. 137 Pillars Residences
