Corporate Meetings Summit with Cvent

McLean, VA (USA) – 25 February 2012 – Cvent, the world’s largest cloud-based provider of meeting management, venue selection and web survey solutions, today announced the Corporate Meetings Summit, a gathering for corporate meeting and travel executives. The three-day event will take place on February 29 – March 2, 2012 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, near Washington, D.C. Steve Singh, CEO of Concur Technologies, Inc., will give the opening keynote for the event, and will be followed by presentations from executives and managers at The Coca-Cola Company, Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, Raytheon Company, and more.

The Corporate Meetings Summit will feature sessions that offer best practices for strategic sourcing, technology implementation and mitigating risk, along with case studies that discuss real-world successes. It will also feature a hotel executive panel, which will be broadcast live online on Thursday, March 1 from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET. Titled, “Strategies to Get Your Meeting RFP Top Priority Attention,” the panel is free to the public and will touch on tips and strategies that meeting and travel professionals can implement when negotiating business with suppliers.
