Worldwide Premiere of Leonardo da Vinci’s Earlier Mona Lisa

Witness firsthand the breathtaking ‘Earlier Mona Lisa’, with a full light show designed to illuminate Leonardo’s marvelous interplay of light and shadow, share the arguments of the experts and consider those of the few critics with the logical conclusions of the foundation.

This 650 square metre, tablet-led, interactive audiovisual exhibition integrates the fascinating histories of the characters involved in the story of the earlier version of the most famous and iconic artwork of all time: The ‘Mona Lisa’.

Experience first-hand the incredible genius that Leonardo da Vinci employed to create this magnificent portrait, along with the investigations that were necessary in order to attribute this stunning work of art to the great master.

See the masterpiece itself in the historic setting of the Old Parliament.

The Mona Lisa Foundation has chosen Operation Smile Singapore Ltd., which provides free reconstructive facial surgery for children suffering from facial deformities throughout Asia, as the event beneficiary for the Worldwide premiere of “Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘Earlier Mona Lisa’ ” exhibition with a corporate donation made after the successful completion of the event.

The tablet-led, 30-stop interactive audiovisual tour will guide you through the major milestones in the history of the painting, and present you with the results of decades of testing involved in attributing the portrait to Leonardo da Vinci. The experience culminates in the viewing of this spectacular painting.

The worldwide premiere of the exhibition will take place at the Arts house at the Old Parliament, Singapore, between December 16th 2014 and February 11th 2015. About The Mona Lisa Foundation
The Mona Lisa Foundation is a Zurich-based non-profit organisation.
