Zagreb (Croatia) – November 23, 2012 – DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the opening of its first hotel in Croatia, located in a prime position in the business district of the historic capital city, Zagreb.
The upscale and contemporary hotel welcomes guests with a full-service guest offering and legendary warm chocolate chip cookie on arrival, as well as featuring new destination restaurant OXBO Urban Bar & Grill led by renowned Croatian chef, Tomislav Niksic.

OXBO Urban Bar and Grill opens at DoubleTree by Hilton Zagreb under the culinary leadership of renowned Croatian chef, Tomislav Niksic. The destination restaurant offers a contemporary menu with popular international dishes and strong emphasis on local Croatian cuisine. Interiors feature high and low seating, countertop dining and an open theatre kitchen with fire grill which uses the freshest, natural ingredients and features a showcase market table displaying seasonal produce and herbs. Signature dishes include: lamb beef duo, a combination of fire grilled, dry aged beef tenderloin with brand lamb shoulder borek; and egg ravioli with mushroom and garlic scented broth; as well as a range of grilled fish and vegetable options. OXBO’s unique menu features US Black Angus beef, imported directly from Creekstone Farms, a gold plated provider of world-class beef. The bar offers a list of high quality cocktails, international gourmet beers, and an eye-catching wine display, with an extensive wine by the glass menu and food pairing menu.
